GENERAL MEETINGS OF THE ASSOCIATION
General Meetings of the Association take place quarterly and include an Annual General Meeting in October. These meetings are held at different sites in Area 7 to give residents without transport the opportunity to attend at least one meeting per annum. Every effort is made to publicise these meetings and their Agendas widely.
All residents in Wollaton and Lenton Abbey are invited to participate in these meetings, but voting is restricted to elected representatives (usually Chief Co-ordinators) of Neighbourhood Watch Schemes belonging to the Association.
There are opportunities at these meetings for residents to contribute to discussions on crime and social disorder in Wollaton and Lenton Abbey and to meet with the Police, City Councillors and Neighbourhood Wardens. Unsigned Minutes of these meetings are distributed to the elected representatives of Neighbourhood Watch Schemes belonging to the Association as soon as possible after each meeting. It is the responsibility of the representatives to give sight of the Minutes to residents in their Neighbourhood Watch Schemes. |
